The Makings of You

I'm totally inspired to write a book. It's been a while since I've had the dream of writing a book for the hell of writing it, and in keeping with the theme of "to hell and back" I wanted to write a book about my experiences. Initially I'm thinking of calling this book "Entreprenigga" as a working title and then changing the title of the book to "The Welfare Entrepreneur". This book will be about my experiences on ebt (as a welfare/GR/foodstamps recipient) and what I'm doing to parlay or grow this into a successful business. I've already started a business, I need to create a webpage for it. I want to include chapters such as "The Quest for authenticity" and what that means to "be real" versus the seemingly cookie-cutter business world. I also

I'm on a mission

Wow. What a title. I've decided to call this blog "Two Hell and Back" for a number of reasons. The first is my constant struggle with homelessness since dropping out of college. The second reason is for my struggle with making it in the music industry. This posting is called "I'm on a mission". Right now I live at the Dolores mission in East LA. I was recommended to stay there from a friend while I lived at Jovenes, Inc. The Low Down: Homeless for 4 years, musician all my life and anxious to see my name in lights. I've recently experienced a renaissance of sorts where I feel myself writing lyrics again. I've decided to infiltrate the music industry in an interesting way: Start my own label and shop the demo to the majors.
